What is an IELTS exam? It’s the most respected English language proficiency exam in the world. You can choose to do IELTS on computer or IELTS on paper at one of our official test centres in Malaysia.
Either way, you will be taking exactly the same IELTS test, with the same test content and structure. The only difference is that you can choose to type your answers on computer or write them on paper – whichever suits you best.
IELTS on computer
You will answer the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on a computer at one of our official test centres. The IELTS Speaking test will still be face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner as this is the most effective way to assess your speaking skills.
If you choose to do IELTS on computer you have more test dates to choose from – and your IELTS test results will be available in 1 to 5 days.
*Results for IELTS on computer are usually available in 1 to 5 days after you finish all components of your test. Please note that if the result release day falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, the test report form (TRF) will be distributed on the next working day.
IELTS on computer tests are available in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Penang, Johor and Kuching at one of our official test centres.

IELTS on paper
If you choose this option, you will write the answers to the IELTS Listening, Reading and Writing sections on paper. The IELTS Speaking test will be conducted face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner.
Your IELTS on paper test results will be available up to 13 calendar days from the test date.
If you have any special requirements, you should take the IELTS paper-based test.
