CreativityUK is series of arts and creative industries activities in Kuala Lumpur.

These activities range from showcases of contemporary dance to theatre, lectures and talks by UK experts, screenings of animation and film – to inspire the next generation of young creative Malaysians.

About the Arts and Creative Industries of the UK

These vital sectors have brought and continue to bring joy into the lives of people around the world. From film to animation, games to theatre, music to dance, the UK’s £71 billion creative sector is one of the UK’s most important industries, driving economic growth and supporting jobs across the UK. The UK’s creative industries is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK – it is estimated that in 2012 the sector generated over £8 million an hour and employed nearly 1.7 million people in the UK, according to DCMS’s Creative Industries Economic Estimates, January 2014.


1) Creative Partner - Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) Malaysia

MDeC oversees the development of MSC Malaysia, advises the Malaysian Government on legislation and policies, and set breakthrough standards for multimedia operations. MSC Malaysia’s primary focus is to create an ideal and conducive platform to nurture Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises in the ICT sector, to become world-class businesses whilst attracting participation from global ICT companies to invest in and develop cutting edge digital and creative solutions in Malaysia.

2) Battersea Arts Centre

The Battersea Arts Centre is a performance space near Clapham Junction in Battersea, in the London Borough of Wandsworth that specialises in music and theatre productions.

3) Venue - The Tuanku Bainun Creativity Centre for Children only

The Tuanku Bainun Creativity Centre for Children brings creativity educators and children together in a physical space where we hope creativity in our children and youth will flourish.
