CreativityUK is series of arts and creative industries activities in Kuala Lumpur.

These activities range from showcases of contemporary dance to theatre, lectures and talks by UK experts, screenings of animation and film – to inspire the next generation of young creative Malaysians.

Creativity is one of the best assets that the UK can offer to the world. The UK is a widely recognised world leader in the arts and creative sectors, playing an important role in shaping how people perceive the education path and career choices in creativity around the world. These vital sectors have brought and continue to bring joy into the lives of people around the world. From film to animation, games to theatre, music to dance, the UK’s £71 billion creative sector is one of the UK’s most important industries, driving economic growth and supporting jobs across the UK. The UK’s creative industries is one of the fastest growing industries in the UK – it is estimated that in 2012 the sector generated over £8 million an hour and employed nearly 1.7 million people in the UK, according to DCMS’s Creative Industries Economic Estimates, January 2014.

2) Battersea Arts Centre

The Battersea Arts Centre is a performance space near Clapham Junction in Battersea, in the London Borough of Wandsworth that specialises in music and theatre productions.
