We have closed our examinations services offices in Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. This is part of an overall change to our procedures for administering and delivering examinations across Malaysia, allowing us to provide a more efficient service to customers.

This change does not affect any of our ongoing activities across East Malaysia. We continue to offer the same range and frequency of examinations in both states. 

From 20 June onwards, our customers can register for IELTS examinations online or with any of our authorised partners in each state, and pay for examinations at any bank ATM.

The timing of this change is driven by the end of our office leases in both cities, as our landlords have decided not to extend our leases. We are making this change to a more centralised delivery and administrative model to allow us to offer a more efficient service to our customers across East Malaysia.

We administer a number of examinations on behalf of UK universities, schools and professional bodies. We also administer examinations on behalf of other international examination boards. We work with:

  • Professional Qualification Boards
  • Admission Testing Services which offers tests such as the STEP, BMAT and TSA
  • Universities for exams such as MBAs, other university degree examinations including those related to distance learning programmes and re-sits
  • Boarding schools entrance examinations
