Our English work across East Asia

The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities and a leading provider of English education expertise, policy reform support and teacher development programmes across East Asia.  We work with our public and private education partners to support the development of more effective systems and improved approaches for English language teaching.

We have a long and successful track record in English teaching development with over 60 years of experience in the region and a presence in 12 key countries.
