The British Council Malaysia hosted student delegates of UK Malaysia University Consortium Student Conference at our principal office on 20 July where the UK students engaged with British expats in Malaysia, and Malaysia university students interacted with staff on the work we do in Malaysia to foster peace and prosperity.

Students from the UK universities met several Brits in Malaysia to understand the challenges and opportunities of working and living in Malaysia. A panel discussion was moderated by Director Malaysia, Jazreel Goh with panellists from British High Commission (Tom Shepherd, Political Counsellor), UK business (Martin R Haeger MBE, Director of HL Architecture Sdn Bhd) and UK university (Prof Sarah Metcalfe, Interim Provost and CEO of University of Nottingham Malaysia).
