About International Science Partnerships Fund
The International Science Partnerships Fund is designed to enable potential and foster prosperity. It puts research and innovation at the heart of our international relationships, supporting UK researchers and innovators to work with peers around the world on the major themes of our time: planet, health, tech, and talent. The fund is managed by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and delivered by a consortium of the UK’s leading research and innovation bodies.
The Project
This scoping project aims to address the evolving landscape of research translational enhancement in Malaysia and Indonesia. The initiative recognises the growing importance of translating research into practical applications and seeks to identify opportunities, challenges, and best practices in this domain.
In order to accomplish these objectives, a consultant is needed to conduct a comprehensive baseline analysis and scoping research. This consultant will undertake in-depth research to understand the current landscape of translational research, evaluate supporting policies, profile various stakeholders involved, and identify capacity gaps. The consultant will provide recommendations and strategies for developing capacity in translational research partnerships through a multi-stakeholder approach, with a particular focus on Malaysia, Indonesia, and the UK. This research will be crucial in paving the way for a conducive and supportive platform that fosters capacity development in translational research, knowledge sharing, and collaborative initiatives aligned with ISPF and Partner Countries Priorities.
