Do you want to know how you can get a UK degree while staying near home in East Asia?
The Covid-19 pandemic has changed how students are planning and experiencing education around the world. In addition to campuses in UK, students are also exploring how they can enrol in international UK qualifications while staying near home as they prepare to finalise study plans.
The British Council is delighted to invite you to join the Study UK East Asia Webinar Connect on Thursday, 13 August 2020. Academics from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia and De Montfort University - Srinakarinwirot University Joint Programme, Thailand, will share information on ‘Getting a UK Qualification in East Asia’. Academics will share guidance on choosing where to study and how to plan your UK qualifications. You can speak with them and learn more about:
- The similarities and difference between studying in a UK programme in the region or in the UK
- Details of student facilities, campus environment, academic programmes, courses and subjects, faculty and teaching and student life at UK programmes in East Asia
- How you can experience a UK student life through an East Asian programme
- The impact on your future employment if you do a UK degree in East Asia
- Costs and finances for a UK degree in East Asia
There will be a Q/A session after the presentations and all speakers will answer questions from the audience.
