Are you ready to enhance your language skills and boost your academic and professional confidence? Join our Adult Summer Course designed for adults at CEFR A2 (Pre-intermediate) level. Over 3 weeks, you’ll experience a dynamic mix of Workplace and Academic English focused on practical language usage for the workplace and higher education settings.

What you will achieve:

  • Master Key Workplace Skills: From introducing yourself in a professional context to discussing workplace environments and health and safety, you'll gain the vocabulary and confidence to excel in any workplace setting. 
  • Academic Excellence: Develop the ability to summarise, present, and analyse data, while improving your reading, writing, and speaking for academic environments, such as university settings and interviews.
  • Real-World Application: Engage in activities like giving presentations, designing projects, conducting surveys, and participating in group discussions to simulate real-life scenarios.

  • Focused Learning: With 10 lessons per week, including both Workplace and Academic English modules, you'll get a comprehensive understanding of language use in professional and academic contexts.

Eligibility

  • The camp is designed for adults aged 18 years old and above with focus on Business/Academic for young adults and International students.

Duration and Schedule

  • Date : 28 July 2025 to 15 August 2025
  • Duration: 3 weeks/45 hours
  • Daily Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 12 noon (3 hours per day with 15 minutes break)

Location 

The camp will be held at the British Council, Kuala Lumpur branch.

Teaching Staff

Our teachers consist of experienced native level English language teachers.

Class Capacity

Each class will have a maximum of 20 students.

Registration and Fees

  • Fees will cover learning materials, certificate, welcome pack and activity resources.
  • RM 82 per student per hours (RM 82 x 45hours = RM 3690 per student)
  • A non refundable deposit of 50% is needed to secure the seat by 16th June and the remaining amount to be paid by 15th July 2025.
  • Any groups of 9 students registering together will be entitled for one free place.
    •  Fees for 9 students will be RM 3690 x 8 students  = RM 29,520 instead of RM 33,210
  • Places are subject to first come first serve bases.
