The Marketing Manager supports the Head of Marketing in implementing and managing the country marketing plan for the British Council Malaysia.

Role overview

As a Marketing Manager, you will be supporting the Head of Marketing to implement and manage the British Council Malaysia’s marketing plans. You will be responsible for marketing plans for Teaching Centres across Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, Mutiara Damansara and Penang. You will need to work closely with the Head of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager to implement campaigns, manage offline and online marketing activities to maximise and generate measurable enquiries. You are to monitor and track all advertising and promotion expenses for teaching centres to ensure cost effectiveness and make sure that it falls within agreed budget.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have a good track record of relevant experience in advertising and promotion as well as understanding market segmentation and positioning. It is essential that you have high proficiency in English and possess good analytical skills.
