Role overview

This post as International Student Development and Recruitment Manager is responsible for developing and delivering a strategy for student recruitment for Malaysia, targeting and finding prospective students of different ages to benefit from the British Council's industry-leading English teaching programmes. 

In this managerial post you will be responsible for strategy management, setting and meeting sales targets, working with agents and partner organisations to drive the growth in student numbers, and developing the British Council's marketing and branding within the local market. This is a collaborative job involving work with a host of partner organisations and responsible for managing its own budget. 

If you have at least two years of experience recruiting students internationally and managing external partners and agents then this could be a suitable career opportunity, offering personal and professional development opportunities. Ideal candidates will also have some understanding of the immigration process for international students in Malaysia, and an education to at least degree level
