Lower Secondary Plus (ages 13 to 15)

Lower Secondary Plus is an extension of our existing courses which develops more complex skills to ensure students are equipped for and supported in their future IGCSEs. This two-year course will complement their school studies and give students the confidence and skills to tackle the IGCSE exam.

Students will build confidence in reading both fiction and non-fiction texts as well as learn how to understand implied meaning. They will also become more fluent in discussing topics at length and delivering individual talks. The focus on exam skills will also ensure students practise writing summaries and taking notes, as well as developing skills to deduce meaning. Students will steadily work towards improving accuracy in writing a range of genres such as articles, letters, essays and journal entries.
