The British Council is delighted to announce the Southeast Asia/UK Creative Hub Exchange for creative hub directors, owners and managers. We are seeking 3 excellent candidates based in Malaysia to participate in an exchange programme in the UK in May 2018. The 5-day programme will include talks, workshops, networking events and tours in three different UK cities.
The aim of the study visit is to:
- Offer insights into challenges and successes of creative hubs in the UK
- Learn about business models, events programming, digital strategies and spaces
- Create opportunities for creative hub managers to connect with like-minded people for future exchanges
In addition to the exchange programme, participants will be tasked to:
- Provide an overview of their trip, which can be in the shape of a blog, vox-pop or written feature, so that their experiences can be shared with others online (via British Council websites and newsletters)
- Hold an event to share their learning and insights with their community after the exchange
- Participate with any evaluation that British Council has to collate in relation to this programme
