Changes are taking place in our world every day as a result of Covid-19 and our hearts and thoughts are with all who have been impacted by this global event. At the British Council, the health, safety and well-being of all our staff, customers, partners and the communities in which we operate in are top priority. We support and cooperate with all local government agencies by putting necessary measures in place.

Front-of-house services in our Kuala Lumpur and Damansara centres are available Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry will follow these SOPs:

  • Security guards will check your risk status displayed on MySejahtera and take your temperature.
  • Entry will be denied if you display a ‘high risk’ status or have a temperature of 38°C or higher.
  • MySejahtera QR code to be scanned before entry. 
  • Customer capacity: Kuala Lumpur - 12 persons, Damansara - 5 persons 

Our Penang centre is open for enquiries and customer service from Tuesdays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. 

All classes continue online. IELTS test and school exams takers will be informed of any changes to scheduled sessions.
