Technician, Kuala Lumpur
The Technician is required to provide effective and efficient support services for British Council Kuala Lumpur and to assist budget holders in cost effective and efficient management of British Council resources and facilities.

The Technician will be in charge of facilities work such as assisting with the maintenance of the Security Access Card System and Phone System as well as checking the stationery and pantry supply and reporting to the Facilities Manager of depreciating stock. In terms of room arrangement, the Technician will need to arrange classrooms before classes begin, during break-times and in accordance with events and requests. Arranging exam halls (South Block) according to exams/events requirements are required too. Other duties will include reprographics by assisting with long print runs, printing, photocopying and laminating, postage and security as the floor monitor.
To be considered, you must have knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures and minimum 1-year experience in the maintenance of a facility or premise. You must also possess a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) certificate or equivalent and be able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. We are also looking for candidates with communication skills and candidates with the ability to use technology.
