Role overview

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties: 

Examinations delivery: Ensure the delivery of examinations meets the target volume and the Exam Boards and British Council exam quality standards.  

Financial management and control: Manage budgets and oversee financial and administrative returns.  Ensure effective, compliant financial processes and accurate financial information.

Management of client and customer relationships: Work closely with the national exams team in designing and implementing efficient and customer friendly processes that reflect British Council corporate customer service standards, as well as acting on objective feedback and using this to make improvements. Lead on exams customer satisfaction surveys and scorecard.

Line management and team leadership: Manage and motivate an effective team that works toward the achievement of shared targets and objectives. Ensure all corporate HR and performance management standards are met. The post holder will manage the Exams administration team and will work closely with the Customer Services team.
